Care support workers for well known educational children's home near Rugeley, Staffordshire.
Full time ongoing work at this children's home for young people with Autism / ASD / ADHD and complex needs, including in some cases, mild physical disabilities.
Physical and vocal, verbal and non-verbal behaviours mean that team-working and co-operation is essential in this exciting and highly rewarding work. Makaton and P.E.C.S. communication are used, and candidates will get a great opportunity to learn these skills, or to practice them.

Candidates will integrate quickly into the team to provide daytime or residential excellent care and support for the pupils and students here, and will gain further training and awareness.
Shifts will be on a 3 week rolling rota, meaning that you will be able to plan ahead for childcare or leisure time.
This will suit Care Support workers that would like to gain some experience of working in a school setting in order to build a career in Learning Support, and experienced Residential Support Workers and Seniors alike.
