Primary Teaching Assistant - Year 3/4
Location: Plymouth
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £89 – £95 per day

Axcis Education is proud to be partnering with Primary school, part of a large, well-regarded Academy Trust, to recruit a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant for a Year 3/4 class.
About the Role:
We are seeking a flexible and dedicated individual to join a supportive school team. You will be expected to work in a Year 3/4 class, responding to the changing needs of pupils and staff. A key part of this role involves providing 1:1 support to SEN pupils, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- support the Year 3/4 class teacher in order to ensure the delivery of a high-quality education for all students
- support the Year 3/4 class teacher to ensure that all relevant education policies and procedures are implemented in full
- provide relevant and appropriate support to students, on an individual or group basis, in order to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
- ensure that the available equipment and resources are used, stored and maintained efficiently
- foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, patient, and proactive with a flexible approach to your working day
- Experience with SEND is desirable, though not essential – full training and ongoing support will be provided
- Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a Primary School setting
