Axcis Education is delighted to be working with an inspirational primary school that caters for pupils with a range of additional SEND. They are currently looking for a SEND teacher to join them on a part-time basis in the next couple of weeks until the end of the academic year.
The SEND teacher must have experience working with ASC & Complex Needs. A strong understanding of differentiation is essential - as students are working at a KS1 level despite being in KS2. Recent experience of working in a primary SEND setting is desired but not essential. Experience teaching primary ASC students is essential.
This role would seen the ideal SEND primary teacher take responsibility for a KS2 class prodominately with autism 3 days a week. The class is well resourced and staffed in order to cater for all their pupils.
This good school is committed in its quest for an inclusive and friendly learning environment. Strong senior leaders ensure that ALL students are catered for, taking into consideration their individual need. Each specialist class is well catered for, with a wealth of resources and teaching assistants providing students with the specialist support they require.
This is a part-time SEND primary teaching position. If you have experience of teaching primary aged pupils with additional needs, then this could be the role for you.
This is a temporary position.
If you are interested, then please contact Thomas Faithwaite at Axcis Education on 0161 507 9397.
This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.
Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
