SEND Teaching Assistant – ARP (Primary School, Haringey)
Haringey, North London
Full-time, Term Time Only (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm)

We’re looking for a compassionate, confident and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive Primary School ARP (Additional Resource Provision) in Haringey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with high needs pupils who require extra support to reach their full potential. You’ll be part of a dedicated and caring team who share one goal — helping every child feel safe, supported and able to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting children with complex SEND, including Autism (ASD), communication and sensory needs.
Providing 1:1 and small group support, adapting learning to meet individual needs.
Using your initiative to respond calmly and creatively to challenging moments.
Helping pupils with personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.
Working closely with teachers, therapists and the SEN team to create a consistent, nurturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting high needs students in a primary or specialist setting.
Confidence working with pupils with ASD, non-verbal communication or challenging behaviour.
Someone who’s calm under pressure, flexible and empathetic.
A positive team player who takes initiative and builds strong relationships.
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one).
