Job Title: Primary SEND Teaching Assistant needed
We are seeking a experienced, adaptable and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary mainstream school in Saltley, Birmingham.
We pay £89.00 per day for a SEND Teaching Assistant role.
About the Role:
Working closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers, your role will involve:
-Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning, behaviour, or emotional needs
-Assisting with the implementation of EHCP targets and individual support plans
-Adapting classroom materials to suit different learning styles and needs
-Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence
-Providing personal care or mobility support where required (training provided)
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
- Is calm, reliable and able to respond flexibly to the needs of the day
- Has a positive, pupil-centred approach with clear boundaries
- Works well as part of a team and takes initiative when needed
Desirable:
- A relevant Level 2/3 TA or SEN qualification
- Experience with SEND
- Previous experience in a educational or care setting.
