Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a new and rewarding role in a specialist education setting? Whether you're an experienced SEND teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for inclusive education, or a primary teacher from a mainstream background looking to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.
A highly regarded and well-respected SEND school in Poole is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September, though an earlier start date can be considered for the right candidate. You will be teaching either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preference.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and wants to work in a school where staff wellbeing, professional growth, and pupil development are truly valued.
The school offers:
A highly supportive and forward-thinking Senior Leadership Team
A welcoming and collaborative working environment
Small class sizes with high staff-to-student ratios
Continuous professional development and training opportunities
Structured support for ECTs and those new to SEND
The chance to make a real, lasting difference in the lives of children with complex needs
We are looking for a teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2
Has a strong interest in or previous experience with SEND, particularly SEMH, ASC and ADHD
Is creative, adaptable, and committed to inclusive teaching
Can work closely with support staff, parents/carers, and external professionals to ensure pupils thrive
Is reflective and eager to develop professionally
This role is ideal for a passionate educator ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of working in a specialist setting, where no two days are the same and every success is celebrated.

Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
