Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Beaminster, Dorset Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Pay: £89 – £95 per day Start Date: January 2026 Ready to make a real impact? A supportive mainstream primary school in Beaminster is looking for a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team. This role is all about providing focused 1:1 support, boosting confidence, and helping pupils achieve their best every day. What You’ll Do • Deliver tailored 1:1 SEN support • Adapt learning plans with the class teacher • Create a calm, positive, and engaging classroom environment • Support communication, learning, and behaviour • Encourage social skills and participation • Track progress clearly and accurately • Use behaviour management strategies confidently • Prepare and adapt resources to suit individual needs What We’re Looking For • Experience supporting children (SEN experience ideal) • Understanding of different SEN and how they affect learning • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Patience, empathy, and resilience • A proactive, flexible team player • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Why This Role?
