Job Title: Primary LSA
Axcis is looking for a dedicated and experienced Primary LSA to join a welcoming primary school in Lymm, Cheshire. This role focuses on providing 1:1 support for a child with learning disabilities in Key Stage 2, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver personalised support to a child with learning disabilities within a mainstream classroom setting.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement effective teaching strategies and behavioural management plans.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and the creation of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track the student's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Help foster the school's ethos of resilience and encourage the child's independence.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an LSA within a primary school setting.
- Familiarity with KS2 curriculum and the challenges faced by students with learning disabilities.
- Strong commitment to inclusive education practices.
- Enhanced DBS check mandatory (either on the update service or willing to apply for a new one).
- Ability to work hours from 8.30am to 3.30pm.
