The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant to join our team. You will work under the direction of the Preschool Supervisor to support the daily operations of the preschool and contribute to the well-being of our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and delivery of a creative and inclusive curriculum
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for all children
- Supervise and engage with children during play-based and structured activities
- Help maintain a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere
- Liaise with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication about their child's development
- Adhere to all preschool policies and procedures, including health and safety
What we are looking for:
- A warm, compassionate, and caring attitude
- A genuine interest in working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and initiative
- Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) or equivalent experience
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
