Job Title: Part-time SEND TA in Reading
Are you driven by a passion to serve young people with complex needs? Are you comfortable providing personal care to young people between the ages of 4 and 18 which may include changing nappies? If so, we invite you to apply for this rewarding new TA position at one of Reading’s most renowned SEND schools. The school is located in the Tilehurst area and has the capacity to cater to a large number of pupils across a range of needs and ages. Some of the main types of SEND there include complex needs, PMLD, autism and Severe Learning Disabilities. Candidates do not need to have extensive prior experience but having some is certainly desirable, whether this is professional, personal or voluntary. The main requirement is being comfortable delivering personal care as this is a widespread requirement of students attending the school. This is a part-time role – candidates will be required to work 8:30am to 3:30pm 1, 2 or 3 days a week. The starting rate of pay is £14.38 per hour and there may be the opportunity to become a permanent member of school staff for the right candidates. Accessible by car, bus or train.
