You must be calm, patient, and compassionate and have effective classroom management skills to be considered for this role. You don't need to have worked in a PRU before but you will need to have worked with pupils with similar needs.
The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality, with a creative and flexible approach to teaching which builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation. You will be calm and professional role model able to get through to these children and to really make a difference in their lives.
To be put forward for this role you will need to come in and register with us and we will need you to have a valid DBS on the update service and at least two references.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
