Job Title: Nights - Residential Support Worker - Dawlish
Axcis are looking for a night time support worker who has worked with adults and young adults with learning difficulties. This is a full time position working 5 nights out of 7, paying £10 - £12 an hour plus pay enhancements for sleep-ins and working weekends. These nights can be flexible during weekdays or over the weekend. This position will be a sleep - in role at the residential home. The residential home is a wonderful environment with incredible resources and grounds. They strive in building relationships where the support worker and adult have similar hobbies and can enjoy their interests together. This role will be based in the seaside town of Dawlish and is easily accessible from local transport links. The ideal candidate must be compassionate, reliable and passionate to meet the people's needs. You must be experienced and give the highest possible standards of support to individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities, in all aspects of their daily lives. Responsibilities include: " Health and wellbeing " Leisure and social activities " Daily living skills " Administration, dispensing medicines/ recording medication and recording reports. In order to qualify for this role you must have a Health and Social Care Level 2 minimum or equivalent. This is a temporary position. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
