Position: Full-Time Maths Teacher Location: Huddersfield Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday Term: Term time only Employer: Axcis Education (on behalf of a Secondary School) Axcis Education is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Huddersfield. This is a full-time position with working hours from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school students. Develop students' mathematical skills and foster a positive learning environment. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and school initiatives. Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions. Maintain accurate records of students' progress and attendance. Uphold the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
