Axcis are currently working with this vibrant KS3 PRU in Sefton, who are looking to recruit a teacher to start ASAP. A specialism in Maths would be advantageous but teaching of other subjects will be required. The school has a very friendly atmosphere and a supportive environment, and is well liked by all staff we have sent to them in the past. Their engaging curriculum ensures all children have the very best start in becoming confident learners and the supportive staff are always on hand to go above and beyond. As well as the class teacher, you will be a role model, mentor and daily support to the children you will be working with. There is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a qualifying period of supply work. You must be resilient and able to deal with challenging and sometimes confrontational situations. The school are looking for a secondary SEND Teacher that is calm, professional and confident within this type of environment. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Jaqueline Edwards at Axcis Education on 0151 448 2810. Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
