We are seeking for support staff/LSA with EBD/PRU experience to work one to one with an Education/Inclusion project in Bristol that caters for students with additional needs such as EBD. Most of the students have behavioural issues and in Secondary age. The support is required as one to one to support a male student in his studies. Most of the work will be done at Libraries or other school institutions in the city as the student can not work with others due to his behavioural needs. If you have experience supporting young people with EBD and able to manage challenging behaviour this role might be for you. The project offers substantial support and development opportunities. All candidates must have a car and be available fulltime. The role is immediate start and will be 25 hours a week.
The school has a commitment to every child matters and requires someone with strong behaviour management techniques, friendly and adaptable personality and excellent subject knowledge. The ability to make inclusion a reality for all students and a contribution to developing the department is essential.
The work will be full-time and will start beginning of June. If you have worked with students with SEN and an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher please get in touch. This role will be ongoing at least two terms and might become permanent.
