Supporting pupils aged approximately 9–13, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people during an important stage of their education and personal development. The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and the wider school team to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and make the most of their education. You may provide support within the classroom, on a 1:1 basis, or through small-group interventions, depending on the needs of individual pupils. Alongside supporting academic progress, you will play an important role in helping young people develop confidence, independence and positive relationships. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant would be beneficial, but we would also love to hear from candidates with relevant experience gained through: • Care or support work • Youth work or mentoring • Coaching • Childcare • SEND support • Other roles working with children and young people The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resilient and able to build positive relationships quickly.
