I am working closely with a lovely primary school just on the outskirts of Swindon and they are currently recruiting for a full time teaching assistant starting from September to work one-to-one with a child in KS1. The role involved working with a SEND child in KS1 that is in need of one-to-one support, this is through supporting academically and socially. Everything from supporting reading to playing games on the playground. Ideally you would have experience working with young children before, weather this is in an educational setting or have some experience with special educational needs. You will need to be fun and caring to be able to build a good working relationship with the child. You will need a DBS on the update service.
