SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist Resource Provision Location: Redbridge | Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term Opportunity Are you an experienced and confident SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a lasting impact in a specialist setting? A respected mainstream college in Redbridge is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their inclusive team from September, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), global developmental delay, and ADHD within a specialist resource provision. About the Role: Starting in September, you will provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs. You’ll play a key role in helping them engage with learning, build social and emotional skills, and develop independence within a safe and structured environment. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Supporting students with ASD on a one-to-one basis and in small groups Assisting with academic engagement and personalised learning strategies Encouraging emotional regulation and the development of social skills Collaborating with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a secondary school or college setting Strong understanding of ASD, global developmental delay, and ADHD Proven track record of supporting students with additional needs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Patient, proactive, and passionate about SEN support Position Details: Start Date: September Location: Redbridge Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday) 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4 days) 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1 day) Contract: Long-term position Please note: part-time applications cannot be considered for this role.
