Learning Support Assistant – ADHD & SEMH – Secondary – Barking & Dagenham | From £92/day | Secondary | Barking & Dagenham | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are working with a mainstream secondary school in Barking & Dagenham that has an integrated SEND provision, seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support students with ADHD and SEMH needs. The school has a strong pastoral structure, positive relationships between staff and students, and a Good Ofsted rating. In this role, you will be: • Supporting KS3 and KS4 students with ADHD and SEMH in lessons and small groups. • Encouraging focus, self-regulation and positive behaviour through consistent strategies. • Assisting with classroom differentiation and emotional support. • Working with teachers, the SENCO and parents to build engagement and confidence. What we’re looking for: • Experience supporting students with ADHD, SEMH or challenging behaviour. • Strong interpersonal skills and behaviour management. • Patience, empathy and commitment to inclusion. • A positive team player who can adapt to different classroom environments.
