Job Title: Learning Mentor
?? Location: Burnham
?? Pay: £92.63 per day
?? Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Are you passionate about supporting young people who need guidance, structure and positive role models? We are recruiting a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a specialist Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Burnham, working with secondary-aged students who have been excluded from mainstream education.
This is a highly rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, many of whom present with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The Role
As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students on a one-to-one and small-group basis, helping them re-engage with education, develop confidence and build positive relationships. You will play a key role in supporting pupils to manage their behaviour, make informed choices and work towards a brighter future.
You will act as a consistent and positive role model, providing encouragement, guidance and stability while helping students overcome barriers to learning.

An interest in sport, fitness or physical activity would be particularly beneficial, as these can be powerful tools for engagement and relationship building within the setting.
