We are recruiting a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a specialist Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Burnham, working with secondary-aged students who have been excluded from mainstream education. This is a highly rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, many of whom present with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The Role As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students on a one-to-one and small-group basis, helping them re-engage with education, develop confidence and build positive relationships. You will play a key role in supporting pupils to manage their behaviour, make informed choices and work towards a brighter future. You will act as a consistent and positive role model, providing encouragement, guidance and stability while helping students overcome barriers to learning.
