Pay: £150 to £180 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience
KS2 Teacher Job in Cheam, Sutton
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Cheam, Sutton from September 2026.
This is a full-time supply teaching opportunity with the potential to continue on a long-term basis for the right candidate. The role would suit both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will join a friendly school community with a strong focus on academic achievement, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
The Role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
Take full responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
Monitor, assess and support pupil progress.
Create a positive, inclusive and well-structured classroom environment.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.
Use educational technology, including Google Classroom, to support teaching and learning.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 is desirable.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Confident using Google Classroom, or willing to quickly learn the platform.
Passion for primary education and helping pupils reach their full potential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
