									Axcis Education are looking for an Intervention Tutor - to work as part of the Outreach Team- with pupils aged 11-19 with a range of SEND needs.
About the Role:
•This role is to be based at a provision in Totnes.
•This is a full-time role - working Monday to Friday -9.00-4.45pm. 
•This position is to start immediately or as soon as possible. 
•The annual salary ranges from £25,500-£35,500, depending on your experience.
•This would be a fantastic position for any experienced Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants, TEFL tutors or experienced SEND Teaching Assistants.
About the Provision:
•Pupils who attend have diagnosed or undiagnosed SEND barriers, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. 
•The students attend a 1:1 intervention session
• Staff deliver a bespoke Maths and English curriculum, which is tailored.
•Students have opportunities for brain breaks, sensory breaks and activities.
• The school implement the thrive approach.
•Personalised learning programmes are implemented.
What We Are Looking For:
•	Fantastic relationship building techniques.
•	Good understanding of Numeracy and English.
•	Previous SEND experience with children and/or adults.
•	Effective strategies to support dysregulated pupils
•       A flexible and proactive attitude.
