Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for history and a talent for engaging students in meaningful learning experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and independent thinking. • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding and engagement. • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective curriculum strategies and initiatives. • Actively participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. • Specialism in History or relevant subject area. • Proven experience teaching history at secondary level, with a strong track record of student achievement. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in education. • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning.
