Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in education? Join our Secondary School in Denton as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and work within your specialist subject area to support students' learning and development. Responsibilities • Provide support within your specialist subject area, assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons. • Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted support and intervention. • Support students with their academic progress, providing feedback and encouragement. • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities. • This is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain paid classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career. • You will need at least some experience working with children in any capacity (Experience with supporting additional needs is desirable). • You will be working 5 days a week during term time. Alongside, having fantastic connections to public transport. This role is long term, full time and is to start after Easter. You will need to be experienced supporting children or vulnerable adults, however not necessarily in a school environment. Axcis offers free CDP and safeguarding training, along with competitive rates of pay. This role would start of at £90 - £110 a day depending on experience.
