Job Title: Further Education Teacher
Axcis Education are working with a SEND college based in Exeter who are seeking two Class Teachers from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified, imaginative and driven teacher who works with equal values and can work as part of a team. Applicants will join an innovative, forward-thinking, and committed team. This role will be to teach a group of 7 to 8 pupils who all have complex needs such as: MLD, VI, HI, sensory impairments and speech and language needs. The pupils are aged between 16 and 25. You will have teaching assistants to assist your class also. Duties include creating a positive and passionate environment ensuring bringing fun and happiness into the student's daily school routine and having strong communication skills using PEC cards, facial expressions, visual timetables, and interactive white boards. The school has good transport links and free parking. This is a full-time temporary role starting in September. There is the opportunity for this role to develop into a permanent position.
