An educational institution located just outside of Newbury serving young individuals with diverse special needs including autism, challenging behaviour and personal care requirements is actively seeking full-time teaching assistants for an immediate start. Responsibilities will entail offering personalised academic, emotional and physical support within the classroom setting, including some personal care for those who need it. Remuneration starts at £14.38 per hour with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants should be able to demonstrate prior experience in handling challenging behaviour, whether this is professional, voluntary or personal. Additionally, comfort with providing personal care, including nappy changing, is essential due to the varied needs of the school's students.
