Supply Jobs for SEND TA Jobs

Job Title: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Required in Watford
Axcis have a vacancy for a teacher assistant at a well respected special school in Watford area, with children with Severe Learning Difficulties from KS1 to KS2. The school has a very friendly atmosphere and a supportive environment, and is well liked by all staff we have sent to them in the past. The school population has increased over the past 10 years and now provides education for 100 children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) where you will be working closely with specialist medical staff including Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. There is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work. To be considered for this full time SEND teaching assistant job, you must have had some prior experience of working with children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and a resilient personality, with a creative and flexible approach to teaching which builds success through challenge, personalisation and innovation. If you are interested, then please contact Francisco Freire at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
