Axcis are seeking a practiced support worker qualified in Health and Social Care Level 2/ 3 and or equivalent. This is a role at a residential home where many hours are available to suit you. Monday - Friday, Weekend and Night work are all vacant, paying a rate of £10 - £12 an hour plus pay enhancements for sleep - ins and working on weekends. The ideal candidate must be kind, resourceful and passioante to meet the people's needs. You must be experienced and give the highest possible standards of support to individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities, in all aspects of their daily lives. Responsibilities include: " Health and wellbeing " Leisure and social activities " Daily living skills " Administration, dispensing medicines/ recording medication and recording reports. This is a fantastic role that can lead to further training opportunities at a wonderful environment with incredible grounds. The company was set up by parents that had children with learning difficulties and who wanted to guarantee a better life for them. This is a temporary position. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
