A special SEND school in Bury is looking for an English teacher to join their secondary department on a full time basis from September. This is a large special needs school catering to children aged 7 to 18. It has recently been rated GOOD on Ofsted. The school's leadership team is extremely supportive and promotes growth for their staff. You will be asked to teach children in KS3 and 4. Some of the children are able to work on a basic GCSEs level English, however, other students will require more support. You should be a qualified teacher (ECTs are welcome) with experience delivering English lessons. SEND experience is desired, however, not necessary as you would have plenty of teaching assistant support.
