Education Graduates needed for Teaching Assistant Work- Cardiff - Cardiff - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Are you an Education graduate who has worked with children before?. If you're seeking to gain experience within the SEND sector to enhance your career prospects Axcis would love to hear from you. We're the only supply agency that specialise in SEND. All of our work is either 1-1 or general in class support.
We work with a number of mainstream, SEND schools, pupil referral units and alternative provisions within Cardiff and south Wales. We have ad-hoc on the day supply as well as longer term roles which sometimes lead to permanent contracts for people who the school like.
To make a good teaching assistant you will need to have a calm and patient nature. Those who're resilient and remain calm under pressure will be at an advantage. You may need to do some personal care, manual handling or be required to work with children with social, emotional and mental health issues and challenging behaviours.

To work for us you will need to hold an up to date DBS certificate on the update service. If your DBS is not on the update service then you will need to get a new one which will cost £50. You will need to be able to provide a detailed, work history with a minimum of two contactable references to be considered for this role. If you have lived or worked abroad for more than six months in the last five years then you will need to provide a police check from that country.
