Job Title: Designated Safeguarding Lead
Axcis Education are working with a school in the Leyland area which caters for KS3 / KS4 students who have SEMH difficulties and learning difficulties and they are looking for a designated safeguarding lead.
The role is full time and you will not be expected to teach or work as a support at all within classrooms, you are purely working as a DSL and going through reports daily and liaising with SMT across the school and any outside parties that may need to be alerted.
The role will require you to have completed your DSL training but also have some experience working in a school, as a DSL, as the school need someone who has hands-on experience and can get stuck in to the role straight away without needing much support / training.
The pay for this role will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications and the role is full-time, starting on the 3rd November on a long term basis. The role will require you to work from 830am - 4pm - however, they may be willing to flex on hours slightly if required.
