The Role You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged and behaviour is managed effectively throughout the day. Responsibilities include: Supervising whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 Delivering pre-planned lessons Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently Ensuring students remain on task Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour The Ideal Candidate We are looking for candidates who have: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Cover Teacher or similar school-based role Strong behaviour management skills – this is essential Confidence leading classes independently A calm, professional and authoritative manner Excellent communication skills Flexibility and reliability Teaching qualifications are not required, however applicants must have relevant secondary school classroom experience. Experience working with challenging behaviour is highly desirable.
