Contract: Full-time / Term-time only
Salary: £95.00 to £105.00 per day, experiance dependant
About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning needs, including those who require personal care. This role is suited to individuals who are nurturing, patient, and committed to inclusive education.
You will support pupils with severe or profound learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and medical or sensory needs, ensuring their dignity, safety, and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored learning support in class and during interventions
• Deliver personal care support (toileting, feeding, mobility assistance)
• Support communication using alternative and augmentative methods
• Assist with sensory activities and physical development programmes
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and medical professionals
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience supporting pupils with complex or additional needs
• Comfortable and professional in delivering personal care
• Patient, nurturing, and respectful of pupil dignity
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Relevant care or SEND qualifications are desirable but not essential
