Job Title: College SEND Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – College Setting
Location: Lambeth
Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
A well-regarded SEND college in Lambeth is seeking a committed and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. The college supports young people with a wide range of needs, including SEMH, complex needs, medical needs, Down syndrome, autism, and ADHD.
This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about supporting learners with diverse needs in a further education setting.
Key requirements:
Experience in a secondary school or college setting
Strong academic background with extensive classroom experience
Confident supporting students with SEMH and challenging behaviours
Experience working with students with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and medical needs
Willing and able to assist with personal care
SEND experience is essential
TT training is highly desirable
Competent with using computers and classroom technology
Proactive, reliable, and confident in a fast-paced environment
