Job Title: Care Assistants required in SEN school- Bristol
Full Time
A wonderful SEND school in the heart of Bristol is urgently looking for Care Assistants to support students affected with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) within the classroom environment. Students within this setting are affected with a range of additional needs and will need support with moving, feeding and personal care. Care Assistants who have worked with young people aged 7- 16 and those with challenging behaviour will be at a distinct advantage This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Care Assistants to gain experience within a special school setting. This role would be especially suitable for those who wish to pursue a Teaching Assistant vocation with students with SEND. To qualify for this position, you must be available 3-5 days a week on a bank staff basis. Applicants without a current CRB/DBS certificate, a certified Manual Handling qualification and recent care experience will not be considered. Finally you must be able to demonstrate a caring, enthusiastic, compassionate and professional personal nature, with a passion for supporting vulnerable young people to succeed.
