Axcis Education is currently looking for a teaching assistant to work in a BSL dedicated school based in Wandsworth. The candidate will preferably have knowledge working in a similar setting, with previous SEN experience; BSL Level 2 is a requirement for this role however. The location of the school means it is easily accessible by several means of transport. The school is really amazing they have such a family feel people feel instantly welcomed and supported. The job role will involve administering support to students, within the class and outside it. You will be expected to help with the completion of class work, and some other school related activities. Therefore the desired candidate will have, and will be: - BSL Level 2. - Previous SEN experience with HI, and working in a school setting. - Dedicated, punctual, caring and supportive. This role is to begin in September and last for the duration of the academic year. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am until 4pm - long term, with the potential of turning it into a permanent position at year's end depending on the school, and performance. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Blake Simpson at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
