Job Title: Band 5 Occupational Therapist required to work within a therapy team in special school in Uxbridge - starts ASAP
JOB LOCATION:
London - West
Hours: 36 hours per week (Term Time Only) Salary: Band 5, £25,424.70 - £31,617.60 (Pro rata) Start Date: ASAP A special school located in Uxbridge are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with experience of working with children and adolescents with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be working within an established multidisciplinary team, within an SEND secondary school recently OFSTED rated as Good. You will be working with students aged 11-19 years who have a wide variety of conditions including autistic spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, respiratory, neurological and neuromuscular pathologies. Candidates will need to be able to work well as part of the therapy and wider school team. This post provides many exciting opportunities including assessment, group work, one to one therapy and class-based interventions, working in collaboration with teaching staff, Speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and rehabilitation assistants. The therapy team are responsible for integrating clinical intervention across all aspects of the educational curriculum ensuring that pupils are able to readily access and engage in learning. This is a temp to perm role meaning you will be working via the agency to begin with. Interviews are taking place asap. INDJOBS.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
