Job Title: SEN Primary School Teacher Location: Havering Contract Type: Full-time Job Summary: Axcis is working with a primary school in Havering, the school is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Primary School Teacher to join their inclusive and supportive school community. The successful candidate will work with children aged 4–11 with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to the individual learning needs of pupils with SEN. • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans. • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCO, parents, and external specialists. • Monitor and track pupil progress using appropriate assessment tools. • Contribute to the development of whole-school SEN policy and practice. • Participate in staff training, CPD, and parent meetings as required. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. • Experience teaching in a primary school setting. • Knowledge of a range of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies. • Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills. • SEN qualification or additional training (e.g. autism awareness, Team Teach). • Experience working in a specialist provision or resource base. • Experience using EHCPs and liaising with external agencies.
