These full-time positions offer flexible start dates in June, July, and September, making this a great opportunity whether you're ready to start soon or planning ahead for the new academic year. About the Role You’ll be working closely with students predominantly learning at Key Stage 1 level, many of whom have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your role will involve providing consistent, person-centred support to help pupils access learning, regulate their emotions, and build independence—both in and out of the classroom. Key Responsibilities - Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to the needs of pupils with ASD and SEMH - Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities - Support the implementation of behaviour strategies and emotional regulation plans - Offer help with personal care and routines where necessary - Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment What We’re Looking For - Proven experience working with children with SEN, especially ASD and SEMH - Background in a primary school or early years setting - CACHE Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is advantageous - Calm, patient, and adaptable with a compassionate approach - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education Position Details Start Dates: June, July & September Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm Contract: Full-time, term-time only Please note: part-time applications cannot be considered.
