Axcis Education is exclusively working with a primary school in Chester that requires a Team Teach trained teaching assistant to work within their designated provision on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will need to be prepared to work from March for the rest of this academic year. The candidate will also need to be highly experienced with working with children that have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
The ideal candidate will be Team Teach qualified and be accustomed to using MAKATON or PECS. Experience of working with social, communication needs is also desired but not essential.
The school is located in an ideal, and easy to commute to location. The working hours are 8:30-3:30pm; candidates seeking full-time employment should apply.
- Previous ASC experience.
- Team Teach Certificate.
- Previous experience working with children in KS1 and KS2
- Commitment to the hours and the role, it is a full-time, full-year (academic) position.
- Confident and proactive.
- DBS on the update service, or a willingness to pay for a new one on registration.
