2-1 SEND Teaching Assistant - North Somerset - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Supply Jobs for SEND TA Jobs

Job Title: 2-1 SEND Teaching Assistant
North Somerset
Looking for your next challenge in SEND? Axcis are currently recruiting for a 1-1 SEND TA for a KS3 child with attachment disorder in a primary school in Weston-Super-Mare. The role is full time five days a week and the hours are 8:30-3:30pm. The child is in Y4 and you will be supporting them with their studies. They exhibit mild challenging behaviour. Previous experience working with children with attachment disorders or with SEMH and challenging behaviours would be advantageous. The school is a mainstream primary and there is excellent potential for progression in this school, with many staff being taken onto permanent contracts after a short period of supply work. If you are a caring, friendly and patient individual then this could be just the kind of role you're looking for. You must have a calm nature and this role will suit someone who thrives on working with young people with challenging behaviour while being a positive role model. If you're looking for a supply agency that offers work in special schools and/or alternative provisions then Axcis is the recruitment agency for you. At Axcis, we value our teachers and support staff and the hard work they put in on a daily basis. This is why we always offer competitive rates of pay to ensure that their skills and experience are recognised If you are interested, then please contact Gemma Lee-Beresford at Axcis Education on 0117 373 6127.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
