We specialise in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are looking for individuals who are patient, adaptable, and committed to providing nurturing, high-quality support. Location: Primary schools in Stockport and Cheshire Start Date: Immediate Pay Rate: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience and role requirements) - Paid weekly through PAYE The Role: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with Axcis, you will: - Provide individualised support for pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays - Work alongside the class teacher to adapt learning and ensure inclusion within the classroom - Support pupils with personal care, social skills, and emotional regulation where required - Share wider classroom responsibilities, including small group work, preparing resources, and supporting other staff - Step in to cover staff absences or support in other classes when needed - Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
