Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistants
Join Axcis Education – 1:1 Teaching Assistants Needed in Stockport & Cheshire
Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and making a real difference in the classroom? Axcis Education is seeking dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across primary schools in Stockport and Cheshire.
We specialise in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and are looking for individuals who are patient, adaptable, and committed to providing nurturing, high-quality support.
Location: Primary schools in Stockport and Cheshire
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Rate: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience and role requirements)
- Paid weekly through PAYE
The Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with Axcis, you will:
- Provide individualised support for pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays
- Work alongside the class teacher to adapt learning and ensure inclusion within the classroom
- Support pupils with personal care, social skills, and emotional regulation where required
- Share wider classroom responsibilities, including small group work, preparing resources, and supporting other staff
- Step in to cover staff absences or support in other classes when needed
- Help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
About You:
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Nursery Practitioner, or similar role
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and school settings
