Axcis are pleased to be working with a mainstream school in North Swindon who are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant to work 1-1 with a Y3 child with PMLD five days a week Monday-Friday. The role starts in September and will go for at least six weeks. You will be required to do personal care and manual handling. The school is well renowned and has beautiful grounds, the pupils are encouraged to explore the grounds and learn about the local flora and fauna. Situated in North Swindon, the school has been described as having a positive and inclusive working ethos and has excellent parking facilities. You will be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child you will be working with and will need to be able to establish a good working relationship with them. Patience is an essential trait as the child has complex needs. Ideally you will be experienced in supporting children with complex medical needs.
