1-1 TA Cerebral Palsy- Gloucester - Gloucestershire - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Are you a TA experienced in working with a KS3 child with Cerebral Palsy? Axcis want to hear from you! Axcis have a vacancy for a teaching assistant at a well respected specialist school in Gloucester. The child has difficulty with their mobility and uses a wheelchair so you will need to have experience with manual handling and personal care.
This fantastic specialist school uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. The school is small but well resourced and has a fantastic atmosphere upon entering the grounds. Situated on the outskirts of Cheltenham, the school has excellent links to public transport, parking and is easily accessible.
The role starts in September and is five days a week, full time with potential to continue till the end of term for the right person. The position is general in-class support - you will need to be able to quickly build a relationship with the child.
If you are a caring, friendly and patient individual then this could be just the kind of role you're looking for. The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND teaching assistant who has worked with children with cerebral disabilities before in a special needs environment.
