An 'Outstanding' primary school based in Islington are looking for a SEND teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Lower Key Stage 2 pupil with ADHD and some associated behavioural needs. The ideal teaching assistant will be committed, enthusiastic and have demonstrable SEND experience, particularly with ADHD. You will also have a demonstrable understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and be able to work in collaborative manner with the Class Teacher and SENCO in order to support the child's learning and progress. This is a full-time role to start in ASAP and continue on into the next academic year. About the role: o 1:1 ADHD Teaching Assistant working o Full time, (Mon-Fri) The ideal candidate: o Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils o Experience with ADHD and challenging behaviour. About the school: o 'Outstanding' Primary School o Dedicated and supportive leadership team o 10 mins walk from local station This is a temporary position.
