An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Functional Skills Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive SEN school in Wakefield. The school caters to a diverse range of students across multiple age groups, providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality functional skills lessons to students with special educational needs.
Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the diverse learning styles within the multi-age group setting.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic and personal development of each student.
Collaborate with a team of educators, support staff, and specialists to create a holistic approach to education.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
Strong understanding of functional skills curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
