DETAILS: Axcis have a vacancy for a teaching assistant at a well respected pupil referral unit in The WIRRAL. This fantastic pupil referral unit uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. The pupil referral unit has excellent resources and is popular with many of our staff who have gone there. Situated in The Wirral and with excellent links to public transport the school is easily accessible.
The role starts at the end of March and is five days a week, full time and will go on till the end of the academic year. The position is general in-class support - you must have a calm demeanour and resilient nature. Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour is essential. You must have training and experience using Team Teach techniques and your certificate must be from the last year.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND teaching assistant trained in Team Teach and who has worked with KS5 children with challenging behaviour.
