Team Teach Teaching Assistant- Devizes - Wiltshire - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Axcis have a vacancy for a teaching assistant at a well respected pupil referral unit in Devizes working with a child with challenging behaviour aged 15. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this fantastic pupil referral unit uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. The pupil referral unit has extensive grounds and the children are encouraged to do activities such as horse riding, swimming and gardening. Situated in central Devizes and with excellent links to public transport the school is easily accessible.
The role starts in September and is five days a week, full time and will go on till the end of term at least. The position is general in-class support - you must have a calm demeanour and resilient nature. Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour is essential and we would love to hear from you if you have training and experience using Team Teach techniques.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND teaching assistant trained in Team Teach and who has worked with KS3 AND KS4 children with challenging behaviour.
