Team-Teach TA Required for Special School in North Bristol - Bristol - Role: SEN TA Jobs
Our client is a large and popular special school in North Bristol and they seek a full-time teaching assistant with Team-Teach training.
Working in the secondary phase, the successful candidate will support the academic progress and emotional wellbeing of students aged 11-18 with a range of SEND including ASD, Asperger's and complex needs. Experience of SEND and a two-day Team-Teach qualification is essential.
The role is from Monday to Friday with the potential to become long term for the right candidate
Successful Candidates will ideally hold the following attributes:
" You must be Team Teach trained or willing to get the qualification in order to be considered for this role.
" Flexible- In order to work around the schools requests and needs
" Professional- Always holds a professional manner.
" Confident- Able to take their own initiative in a new setting and when working with new students.
" A patient, caring and adaptable manner to deal with SEND pupils in an education setting
" Experience working with SEND Students
" Have experience supporting children 1:1 in a classroom environment
" Be able to remain calm in the face of a challenge
" Team Teach is desirable
