Job Title: Teaching Assistants for College: Bath
Axcis are working with a large college in Bath that come to us regularly with long term roles. You could be a 1-1 TA with a specific learner supporting them to attend all of their classes or you could be general in class support. The college offers over 1400 courses for 16-19 year olds including traineeships and apprenticeships. Some examples of courses offered are media, music, performing arts, hair and beauty, life skills and catering and hospitality. The college has a 'Good' OFSTED rating; the permanent staff at the college are welcoming and supportive. The college building is ultra modern and the the college is easily accessible situated in the centre of Bath. Unfortunately because of it's central location there is no parking at the college site. There is a secondary sight in Radstock that does have ample parking. The hours are usually 8:30-5pm and the pay rates are really great starting at £10-£12 per hour. We pay every Friday a week in arrears. Ideally you will be experienced supporting people with special needs with in education environment. However if you are a support worker or carer or you have personal or voluntary experience please give us a call. This is a temporary position. Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
